All About… The Podcasts I’m Obsessing Over

Podcasts, On Podcasts, On Podcasts

Public transit serves as my primary mode of transportation since moving to the city. Though it’s not as convenient as having a car at my disposal, it has given me the time and opportunity to start diving into podcasts and books more than I usual.

I started listening to podcasts towards the end of my last semester at SMU. When I tell you I started listening, I was binging episodes like it was Netflix. The thing about podcasts I loved right off the bat is that I could listen in my car, on my phone walking to and from class, grocery shopping, literally everywhere.

The first series that stole my heart was ‘My Favorite Murder’ (MFM) with Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark. I’ve been a true crime fiend for as long as I can remember. I was able to catch up with every single MFM episode in a matter of weeks, leaving me digging for more podcasts that are similar.

I’ve received questions on Instagram in regards to what I’m listening too and If I recommend any series. Rather than answering individually, I thought it would be a good idea to take it to the blog.

The genres I listen to daily are news and true crime/paranormal. They keep me informed and entertained throughout my busy days and when I’m on the go. You’d be surprised who you could potentially connect with over a podcast series.

Here is a list of podcasts I’ve been obsessing over. Click on the photo to learn more and listen!
